Brake Masters, a prominent chain of mechanic shops, faced several challenges regarding their construction projects. They needed a trustworthy contractor to build multiple locations simultaneously, adhere to an expedited schedule, and provide competitive pricing. Adding to the complexity, design packages are standardized and not specifically modified to each locations. Brake Masters needed help to ensure the design intent and brand standards were maintained while molded to the actual store and location.
Solution:
Recognizing the need for a reliable and capable new construction company, Brake Masters turned to SHF. We were hired to handle ground-up construction for their new locations. Our scope of services encompassed various aspects such as site work, concrete work, masonry and steel structure, steel shade structures, finishes, specialty doors, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and more.
Results:
Following the successful completion of the first project, Brake Masters gained confidence in SHF’s ability to deliver exceptional results. As a result, SHF has successfully opened three Brake Masters locations, with three additional locations currently under construction and two more in the planning stage. The owner of Brake Masters can now proceed with land procurement, design, and permitting, knowing they have a competent and reliable contractor to build their locations when ready.
